Transpersonal Therapy

Transpersonal therapy employs a universal approach that we are all connected and inter-connected. It is a holistic approach that takes into consideration your full being and strives to look beyond to find your true self.

Exploration of all aspects of your life – spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, physical and creative enables looking beyond to find your true self. It allows you to tap into the higher wisdom/perspective that lives in all of us.

Person-Centered Therapy

Person-centered therapy is based on Carl Rogers's belief that every human being has the capacity to fulfill their own potential. The therapist creates a safe environment listening with genuine empathy, understanding and acceptance without judgement.

The space created facilitates self-awareness through self-discovery, with you taking the lead working towards positive solutions and adjustments.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy brings awareness to your experience in the world with the focus being on what is occurring in the present moment for you.

This helps you to become emotionally responsible and mindful of your own thought patterns and behaviours that may be holding you back from leading a fuller life.

Systems Therapy

We look back into your family of origin to explore patterns of behaviour, relationship patterns, values and perceptions uncovering relational dynamics that may be affecting your current life.

Your new awareness of systemic patterns of behaviour, values and relational dynamics give you choices of what you would like to hold onto and what you would like to let go of.

Our sessions may include talk therapy, genograms (mapping your family of origin’s inherited traumas and losses that may be holding you back), experiential processes (including inner child work), the use of breath and mindful techniques to explore sensations and feelings within your body guiding us to the underlining feeling that is at the source of your struggle/situation. Before engaging in any process I will always ask for your permission before proceeding.
